KET strives to provide exceptional online resources for you and your learners. To meet this goal, we are enacting a new procedure for inactive and un-activated accounts in our FastForward and Workplace Essential Skills online learning systems. Beginning in two months on January 18th, 2022, KET will begin to remove accounts which have not been accessed for 2 years or longer.
This will speed up key functions for teachers and administrators such as roster maintenance and reporting. Teachers are also encouraged to archive out inactive students themselves to speed up this functioning on their own.
If you or your students have logged in to your account within the last two years, your account will not be impacted.
If you or your students have accounts that you wish to keep but have not logged in to for two years or more, please take a moment to log in to those accounts before January 18th, 2022 to prevent them from being deleted.
From this point forward, users should make sure they log in at least once a year to prevent their accounts from being deleted by the system’s new annual maintenance.
All teachers or administrators who need information or report data on students who have been inactive for 2 or more years should pull a report on these students before January 18th, 2022 or encourage these students to log back in to their account before January 18th, 2022 to prevent this account from being removed.
