One Assignment: Kentucky Families Recording History Now

Journals and diaries give an insider’s view to historic events, and we are living one now. Explore how to record yours and your family’s experiences in this unique time, the changes and challenges, the good moments. Also hear from Kristen Koch, a social studies teacher at Bourbon Co. Middle School, on how she has used journaling to help students deal with their experiences and contribute to our historic record. Several methods of journaling will be discussed and writing prompts, including those for young children, will be provided.
