Quality online instruction can take weeks to prepare and some teachers are more adept at building online lessons and instruction than others. There may also be issues around what platforms or software to use as well as considerations of equitable access for all students. FastForward and Workplace Essential Skills offer high school equivalency and workplace preparation. Both are mobile-friendly and offer pretests, individual learning plans, relevant video and interactives to support content, practice and posttests. A built-in online management system allows instructors to view student activity, progress, usage, etc. Teacher toolkits offer supporting resources, lesson plans and professional development.
