Celebrating Alabama Grads

If ever there was a personification of determination Janet Flemmon would be it. When Janet was only 12, her mom passed away and her grandparents became her caretakers. She describes her teen years as rough and challenging and as a result, she was unable to finish high school. Eventually Janet found her way into Bridge Academy in Selma, AL. Bridge Academy offers classes and services to adults who want to attain a high school diploma.

Whether we like Daylight Savings Time or not, the time has come for most of the nation to set clocks one hour ahead. Many people feel the spring time change actually gives them more time due to longer evenings and seemingly more sunlight. This is the perfect time to encourage adult learners to FastForward to new opportunities that come with completing a high school equivalency credential, workplace training or improved language skills.
