FastForward Skill Check App Now Available!

The FastForward Skill Check app is a great way for adult learners to practice test questions in language arts, social studies, science, or math. The app is free and easy to use;  just click on a subject to answer practice questions, which include lots of hints and images to help you arrive at the right answers.

The Kentucky Board of Education recently honored KET with the Dr. Samuel Robinson Award. The annual award is presented to an individual or a group in Kentucky in recognition of “outstanding leadership, commitment and service in promoting equity and opportunity to learn at high levels for all Kentucky students.”

Kids aren’t the only ones that will be hitting the books this this fall. Many of the more than 700,000 Kentucky adults who lack a high school diploma will begin preparing to take the GED® exam. KET offers a complete GED® test prep curriculum online with Fast Forward (ketfastforward.org).

Elliott County Adult Education has been selected as KET’s Kentucky Learning Center of the Year for its outstanding use of Fast Forward, KET’s GED® online test-preparation curriculum. During the KET visit, state Rep. Rocky Adkins presented a special citation from the House of Representatives to the center.
