KET's current events program for students, News Quiz, has produced a special episode to get Kentucky classrooms ready to watch. In addition, PBS LearningMedia features a wide variety of free educational resources to help both classrooms and families celebrate the upcoming total solar eclipse.

KET Education is excited to announce the 2024 KET Young Writers Contest is open for submissions! The annual contest seeks to celebrate creativity through four categories of writing – Illustrated Story, Short Story, Poetry, and Graphic Novels. Submissions will be accepted until Friday, March 31, 2024. There is no set theme, allowing your PreK – 12th grade students to explore the depths of their own interests and creativity.
