Tara Haynes, a teacher at Little School, a preschool program run by the Pine Mountain Settlement School in Bledsoe, has been named a national PBS KIDS Early Learning Champion. The new award program, sponsored by PBS KIDS, recognizes passionate educators from across the country who work with young children, from infants to second graders.

PBS LearningMedia has unveiled a new website, making thousands of digital resources – including many created by KET – more accessible to educators and students across Kentucky. In response to teachers’ needs, the new features include simple browsing by curriculum area, state/national standards and grade; improved search functionality; a refreshed look and easier access to KET resources.
