Courses include all materials needed (including video) to complete them online. For your convenience, all courses are marked with training levels, CDA subject areas, and Core Content labels. Sorting options are also available to find and select a course to fit your interests and needs. All early childhood professional development courses are approved for ECE-TRIS credit.
There are several different courses to choose from. Check out Building a Reader by Sesame Street in Communities for a free online course for early childhood educators to increase capacity building and knowledge around early literacy and family engagement. This interactive online course includes ways to engage young children to explore key literacy goals, strategies, and activities to support early learning curriculum, and tools to connect with parents around those same language and literacy objectives.
