KET Offers Help with Early Childhood Training Hours

This winter while you are staying warm inside, let KET help you with your training hours!  Find online courses from KET, PBS KIDS, and Sesame Street in Communities. Courses include all materials needed (including video) to complete them online. For your convenience, all courses are marked with training levels, CDA subject areas, and Core Content labels. Sorting options are also available to find and select a course to fit your interests and needs. All early childhood professional development courses are approved for ECE-TRIS credit.

There are several different courses to choose from. Check out Building a Reader by Sesame Street in Communities for a free online course for early childhood educators to increase capacity building and knowledge around early literacy and family engagement. This interactive online course includes ways to engage young children to explore key literacy goals, strategies, and activities to support early learning curriculum, and tools to connect with parents around those same language and literacy objectives.

Do your students love Daniel Tiger? Register for Spark Learning with Daniel Tiger to learn how media can spark children’s curiosity, conversations, and play! Discover ways to use Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and other media to ignite children’s learning.

Please note that upon completion of any of these courses, KET will not send a certificate to ECE-TRIS. You are responsible for submitting your certificate for credit.
