Join KET for the Adventure Series where children are invited to solve real world problems with fun activities like building a robot arm or using the 5 senses to explore the world. This summer, get outside and explore the world around you – there is so much to discover! The series has debuted as part of KET’s Summer of Adventure where you’ll find even more possibilities and inspiration.
Learn how accidents can cause you to look at things in a new way with a fun song from The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! Keep an open mind when accidents happen while you create a piece of art using materials you likely already have.
Some of the most important tools scientists use are the 5 senses. In this activity you will play “I hear with my own ear” to uncover sounds that you might hear in your very own backyard. After you have played, go on an adventure! Explore outdoors and take turns discovering the sounds you hear.
In this activity you will learn how the Engineering Design Process is used to create solutions to problems. Create a robotic arm that can be used to grab things that are just out of reach, like the one Jet uses in Ready Jet Go.
