New Elinor Wonders Why Educator Resources

Elinor Wonders Why is a new series from PBS KIDS that aims to encourage children to follow their curiosity, ask questions when they don’t understand and find answers using science inquiry skills. The main character Elinor, the most observant and curious bunny rabbit in Animal Town, will introduce kids ages 3-5 to science, nature and community through adventures with her friends.

A new PBS LearningMedia collection has an array of resources – including interactive lessons, playlists, viewing guides, and printable activities – to encourage students to ask questions, make observations, and bask in the wonderment of nature’s amazing answers!

The collection is divided into five units for PreK and Kindergarten students: Being Curious, The Five Senses, Finding Animals, Comparing Plants and Caring for the Environment.
