News Quiz, KET’s weekly current events program, has returned for its 37th season. The 15-minute program is targeted to 4th through 8th graders and includes a student-friendly quiz on the week’s top news stories. Each episode shares visually engaging content, drawn from the state, nation and world.
For 33 weeks every school year, viewers are encouraged to interact through taking part in the test and answering opinion questions. Teachers can use the show to help students understand and interpret news events while connecting to other young Kentuckians and the bigger world. New episodes of News Quiz are available Thursday afternoons exclusively on PBS LearningMedia.
