Join KET for a free Changing Seasons Training

January 10, 2023 - Join us at KET on February 2 as we highlight PreK-2nd grade resources from the Changing Seasons collection on PBS LearningMedia. These resources were developed through a co-design model, partnering with PBS KIDS and the PNC Foundation, to connect with PreK teachers and PBS member stations, such as KET to align materials from the Grow Up Great Lesson Center with PBS KIDS content. The result… new seasons-themed resources available for PreK teachers– all available in English and in Spanish. 

Do Your Students Have A Story To Tell?

January 9, 2023 - The 2023 KET Young Writers Contest is open for submissions! The annual contest seeks to celebrate creativity through four categories of writing – Illustrated Story, Short Story, Poetry, and Graphic Novels. Submissions will be accepted until Friday, March 31, 2023. There is no set theme, allowing your PreK - 12th grade students to explore the depths of their own interests and creativity. Rules, scoring rubrics, entry forms, past winners and more are all available on the contest website.

January Teach Your Way Calendar

January 6, 2023 - Stay organized this school year using this editable teacher planner from PBS KIDS including a monthly calendar with timely resources aligned to early learning themes and skills for PreK-2 students. You will also find a weekly planning page to schedule tasks and organize day-to-day activities, and a lesson plan template (aka Idea Sketchpad) to purposefully plan for a lesson using media.
