Watch, Play and Create on Earth Day

Earth Day is celebrated around the world each year on April 22. It’s a day when we’re encouraged to learn more about the environment and caring for our planet. Celebrate with these resources from KET and PBS KIDS! Use the videos, activities, and crafts to connect learning that happens in the classroom to the world around us.  

Watch 

Get outside with Nature Cat or ask questions about the environment with Elinor Wonders Why. PBS KIDS has a number of shows to watch while celebrating Earth Day. Learn about the great state of Alaska, Alaskan native values and customs with Molly of Denali. Explore the animal world with Wild Kratts.  

Play 

Help children connect to the world around them with play, these nature games from PBS KIDS are perfect for bringing nature to you. Use echolocation or dive deep into the ocean with animal games.  

Play Protecting Our Planet Bingo and explore resources from Splash and Bubbles, Dinosaur Train, and Elinor Wonders Why.  

Create
