In celebration of Earth Month, PBS KIDS has announced a slate of all-new episodes to encourage kids and families to get outside and enjoy nature.Beginning April 15, be on the lookout for all new outdoor adventures from Ready Jet Go!, Nature Cat and Wild Kratts!

Arts Academy at KET

How do you assess student creative work using artistic criteria? How do we get beyond rubrics that focus on effort, following directions, and completion of project? This five-day Academy will devote one day for each art form (drama, music, dance, visual arts, and new media). KET will also introduce teachers to ways to incorporate technology with performances and art work.

Students in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to submit stories and poems for the 2019 KET Young Writers Contest. The contest, which runs through April 15, encourages students in KET’s viewing area to celebrate the power of crafting stories, poems and illustrations by submitting their own, original work.
