Tyner Elementary teacher named 2017 PBS Digital Innovator

Ashley Judd, a first grade teacher at Tyner Elementary in Jackson County, has been selected as the 2017 PBS Digital Innovator for the state of Kentucky. Judd is one of 51 educators from across the country – representing each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia – selected in the fifth annual PBS Digital Innovators Program.

The Kentucky Board of Education recently honored KET with the Dr. Samuel Robinson Award. The annual award is presented to an individual or a group in Kentucky in recognition of “outstanding leadership, commitment and service in promoting equity and opportunity to learn at high levels for all Kentucky students.”

American Academy of Pediatrics recommends PBS KIDS
